Installation Notes
This is a bolt-on kit designed for the 66 to 86 Series conversion — no custom fabrication is required. However, as with any A/C conversion, we recommend:
- Flushing the system thoroughly before installing new components
- Replacing all O-rings with HNBR (green) O-rings compatible with R134a
- Using the correct PAG oil for the Sanden compressor — do not mix with old mineral oil
- Having the system evacuated and recharged by a certified technician with R134a equipment
